Founded in 2010, Shared Earth Photography is a Cheshire based professional photography business owned and run by Mike Batty.

Shared Earth Photography specialises in nursery portrait photography through the use of a mobile photographic studio. Mike sets up the studio in a space which is convenient for you and uses a variety of props to create professional and natural looking portraits. His gentle approach and patience helps to put children at ease in an unfamiliar situation. Mike has undergone a full DBS (formally CRB) check and is happy to provide paper copies for his clients. We appreciate that portrait photography sessions require time and organisation which is why we donate to the nursery 10% of profits made during the first month.

Mike has acquired his experience and a diverse set of skills by photographing a variety of subjects from child and family portraits to press launches, equine events and weddings. The experience which Mike has gathered gives him the ability to adapt his photography to the situation. Mike is a member of the Bureau of Freelance Photographers and has had his work published in magazines and online. He also sells his photographs through the worldwide picture agency Alamy and is a Getty Images Contributor.
